Pike's Peak
Pike's Peak dominates the skyline of Colorado Springs. 14,110 feet high, this is probably the most famous mountain in the United States. It is the most visited mountain in the U.S., and the second most visited in the world behind only Mt. Fuji Japan.

The summit of Pike's Peak is accessible by car on the Pike's Peak highway, by foot following Barr Trail, or by taking the Cog Railway.

America the Beautiful was inspired by the view from the top of Pike's Peak, and indeed the entire mountain is a spectacular area of rocks, forest and lakes. This is an American landmark, and a national treasure.
